Second Chance for Fitness: A Blueprint for Staying Active for the Rest of Your Life

When I started posting twice-monthly active lifestyle tips on January 1st, 2020, my goal was to help former high school/college athletes resume an active lifestyle after decades of inactivity. I’ve had several requests for a compilation of all 24 tips in book format.

So, I’m happy to announce that I will be publishing that book, both in softcover and ebook formats, on January 1, 2021. The content will include all of the original posts, plus additional materials and resources, interwoven with lessons learned from a lifetime as a competitive runner (ages 14 to 49) and as a competitive cyclist (ages 50+). No price has been determined yet, but it will be consistent with other books of the genre.

Here is the full list of the active lifestyle tips for the year. I will update this page as I publish each tip similar to the way I cross off my completed races on my annual Race Schedule page.
