2015 USAC National Rankings

Here are my initial 2015 USA Cycling (USAC) national rankings for Category 4 Time Trial competitors. The first ranking in each category is from August 19, 2014, at the end of the 2014 season. The second ranking, in bold, is as of February 1, 2015. Note that I am ranked first in my riding age. I expect some churn over the course of the season as new race results are averaged into the ranking formula.

• Rank in State: 11 of 148 (7.43%); 9 of 72 (12.5%)
• Rank in Riding Age: 3 of 17 (17.65%); 1 of 7 (14.29%)
• Rank in 5 Year Age Group: 8 of 71 (11.27%); 7 of 57 (12.28%)
• Rank in 10 Year Age Group: 29 of 210 (13.81%); 20 of 163 (12.27%)
• Overall Rank: 167 of 3,621 (4.61%); 82 of 1,810 (4.53%)

I will continue to watch the following ranking closely over the course of the season to determine if I have any chance to compete for a national masters time trial championship in 2016, when the race site moves to Winston-Salem, NC (from Ogden, UT, where it has been held the past two years): Rank in 5 Year Age Group (against all Categories): 18 of 185 (9.7%); 15 of 133 (11.2%).
