2024 Race Season

2024 SEASON FOCUS
The primary focus of my 15th consecutive time trial race season, my third with my state-of-the-art recumbent race trike, was setting triple inaugural World Ultra Cycling Association (WUCA) records for 100 kilometers, 100 miles, and six hours in my age-group on a recumbent trike on an outdoor track. That attempt has been postponed to 2026.

I’ve shifted my attention to preparation for the 2025 National Senior Games in July in Des Moines, IA. I attempted to resume racing the Mid-America Time Trial Series but safety issues forced me to switch to racing virtually for the second half of this season and the first half of the 2025 season.
