2017 USAC National Rankings

Here are my 2017 USA Cycling (USAC) national rankings for Masters age-group Category 4 Time Trial competitors. The first ranking in each category is from October 1, 2016, at the end the season. The second ranking, in bold, is as of September 17, 2017, after my last race. All my rankings continue to decline due to the addition of younger competitors in my age group. This decline will continue until I move into the next older Masters age group in 2019. Note that the total number of competitors in all of my age groups also declined by an average of 14.5% over 2016.

• Rank in State: 2 of 103 (1.94%); 7 of 89 (7.77%).
• Rank in Riding Age: 2 of 14 (14.29%); 3 of 11 (27.27%).
• Rank in 5 Year Age Group: 12 of 77 (15.58%); 18 of 64 (28.12%).
• Rank in 10 Year Age Group: 38 of 249 (15.26%); 38 of 204 (18.63%).
• Overall Rank: 125 of 2,882 (4.34%); 184 of 2,381 (7.73%).

I plan to compete at the 2018 national masters age-group time trial championship in Augusta, GA: Rank in 5 Year Age Group (against all Categories): 20 of 212 (9.43%); 41 of 189 (21.69%).
