Base 2 – Week 6 Training Report

BASE 2 – WEEK 6 (01/24 – 01/30) TRAINING REPORT

HIGHLIGHTS: The goal for this training period is to continue slowly increasing time in the saddle, as well as lower body strength training and a 20-minute yoga routine three times weekly aimed at strengthening my shoulders and lower back. All workouts were conducted indoors with the Zwift application.

Tuesday’s L1 Active Recovery Varied workout was 19.54 miles in 1:00:43. Average speed was 19.5 mph; maximum speed was 24.4 mph. Average power was 120 watts; maximum power was 192 watts.

Wednesday’s L2 Big Foot Hills Badge Challenge workout was 43.72 miles in 2:25:59. Average speed was 18.1 mph; maximum speed was 39.9 mph. Average power was 140 watts; maximum power was 183 watts.

Thursday’s L1 Active Recovery Undulating workout was 19.01 miles in 1:00:15. Average speed was 19.0 mph; maximum speed was 24.0 mph. Average power was 117 watts; maximum power was 155 watts.

Friday’s L2 Endurance Pace workout was 22.63 miles in 1:10:17. Average speed was 19.3 mph; maximum speed was 40.2 mph. Average power was 147 watts; maximum power was 205 watts.

Saturday’s L1 Active Recovery workout was 19.28 miles in 1:00:13. Average speed was 19.2 mph; maximum speed was 23.9 mph. Average power was 121 watts; maximum power was 162 watts.

Sunday’s L2 “D.Diesal” Robopacer Group Ride workout was 36.05 miles in 1:54:24. Average speed was 19.1 mph; maximum speed was 30.7 mph. Average power was 138 watts; maximum power was 230 watts.
