PREPARATION – WEEK 2 (10/25 – 10/31) TRAINING REPORT

HIGHLIGHTS: It has been 18 weeks since the accident. This was the fourth week back on my indoor trainer using the ZWIFT online application. The goal is to slowly increase time in the saddle as I begin weekly outpatient physical therapy for my neck and back for the next two months.

Tuesday’s L1 Active Recovery Rolling was 12.14 miles completed in 0:40:21. Average speed was 18.1 mph; maximum speed was 22.8 mph. Average power was 105 watts; maximum power was 142 watts.

Wednesday’s L1 Active Recovery Varied was 10.05 miles completed in 0:31:35. Average speed was 19.1 mph; maximum speed was 25.0 mph. Average power was 114 watts; maximum power was 135 watts.

Friday’s L2 Endurance Ride was 23.02 miles completed in 1:10:17. Average speed was 19.7 mph; maximum speed was 26.2 mph. Average power was 124 watts; maximum power was 173 watts.

Saturday’s L1 Active Recovery Varied was 10.93 miles completed in 0:34:14. Average speed was 19.2 mph; maximum speed was 23.5 mph. Average power was 111 watts; maximum power was 137 watts.

Sunday’s L2 High Cadence Intervals was 12.67 miles completed in 0:40:17. Average speed was 18.9 mph; maximum speed was 26.3 mph. Average power was 113 watts; maximum power was 159 watts.
