PREPARATION – WEEK 1 (10/18 – 10/24) TRAINING REPORT

HIGHLIGHTS: It has been 17 weeks since the accident. This was the third week back on my indoor trainer using the ZWIFT online application. The goal is to slowly increase time in the saddle as I begin weekly outpatient physical therapy for my neck and back for the next two months.

Tuesday’s L1 Active Recovery Varied was 10.46 miles completed in 0:40:02. Average speed was 15.6 mph; maximum speed was 35.4 mph. Average power was 103 watts; maximum power was 120 watts.

Wednesday’s L1 Active Recovery Rolling was 7.68 miles completed in 0:35:10. Average speed was 13.1 mph; maximum speed was 37.3 mph. Average power was 106 watts; maximum power was 123 watts.

Thursday’s L1 Active Recovery Varied was 12.22 miles completed in 0:40:14. Average speed was 18.3 mph; maximum speed was 25.5 mph. Average power was 110 watts; maximum power was 139 watts.

Saturday’s L1 Active Recovery Steady was 14.64 miles completed in 1:00:15. Average speed was 14.6 mph; maximum speed was 37.1 mph. Average power was 94 watts; maximum power was 140 watts.

Sunday’s L1 Active Recovery Undulations was 9.22 miles completed in 0:30:14. Average speed was 18.3 mph; maximum speed was 22.8 mph. Average power was 110 watts; maximum power was 136 watts.
