RECOVERY – WEEK 1 (10/04 – 10/10) TRAINING REPORT
HIGHLIGHTS: It has been 15 weeks since the accident. This was the first week back on my indoor trainer using the ZWIFT online application. The goal is to slowly increase time in the saddle as I begin weekly outpatient physical therapy for my neck and back for the next two months.
Wednesday’s L1 Recovery Easy Spin was 4.86 miles completed in 0:20:13. Average speed was 14.5 mph; maximum speed was 17.5 mph. Average power was 62 watts; maximum power was 98 watts.
Thursday’s L1 Active Recovery Steady was 9.52 miles completed in 0:35:22. Average speed was 16.2 mph; maximum speed was 21.1 mph. Average power was 79 watts; maximum power was 108 watts.
Saturday’ L1 Active Recovery Rolling was 7.22 miles completed in 0:24:36. Average speed was 17.9 mph; maximum speed was 23.4 mph. Average power was 104 watts; maximum power was 129 watts.
Sunday’s L1 Active Recovery Varied was 8.20 miles completed in 0:27:20. Average speed was 18.1 mph; maximum speed was 23.1 mph. Average power was 103 watts; maximum power was 132 watts.
