2015 USAC National Rankings (Updated)

Here are my updated 2015 USA Cycling (USAC) national rankings for age-group Category 4 Time Trial competitors. The first ranking in each category is from February 1, 2015, at the start the 2015 season. The second ranking, in bold, is as of November 1, 2015, after my last race. Note that all of my ranking percentages improved as the number of age group competitors increased significantly over last season.

  • Rank in State: 9 of 72 (12.5%); 4 of 102 (3.92%).
  • Rank in Riding Age: 1 of 7 (14.29%); 1 of 13 (7.69%).
  • Rank in 5 Year Age Group: 7 of 57 (12.28%); 9 of 74 (12.16%).
  • Rank in 10 Year Age Group: 20 of 163 (12.27%); 24 of 234 (10.26%).
  • Overall Rank: 82 of 1,810 (4.53%); 105 of 3,2014 (3.28%).

I want to be in the top 10 places in the following ranking before I commit to competing for a national masters age-group time trial championship in 2016 in Winston-Salem, NC: Rank in 5 Year Age Group (against all Categories): 15 of 133 (11.2%); 14 of 191 (7.32%). I have tentatively scheduled four early season races in April-May 2016 in order to further improve my ranking in this category, which is used to determine the start order for the national masters age-group time trial championship races.
