Injury Rehabilitation Report: Week 3

INJURY REHABILITATION REPORT: WEEK 3 (08/21 – 08/27)

The third meeting with my physical therapist (PT), on Thursday, August 24th, showed continued improvement in my right knee and foot swelling. I had increased my daily workout sessions by three minutes, a one minute increase over the past week. As a result, she cleared me to resume training with no further restrictions.

I will resume structured training after chatting with my coach on Tuesday, August 29th. Our focus will be the yearlong effort to set three ultracycling world records in September 2024. Also under discussion will be a documentary film, with a companion softcover book, and a sponsorship proposal.
