Period 13 – Week 1-2 Training Report

PERIOD 13 – WEEK 1-2 (10/17 – 10/30) TRAINING REPORT

These two weeks will continue to be devoted to recovery from hernia repair surgery performed on Wednesday, October 5th. I have been given a weight limit of 20 pounds, the equivalent of two gallons of milk, for any lifting I might perform. I have also been encouraged to walk as much as possible, while remaining off the bike until Tuesday, November 1. At that time, I can start easy spinning on the bike for 30 minutes per day through November 15, when I can resume my training program for the 2017 race season.
