BASE 1 – WEEK 2 (11/29 – 12/05) TRAINING REPORT

HIGHLIGHTS: The goal for this training period is to continue slowly increasing time in the saddle, as well as lower body strength training and a 20-minute yoga routine aimed at strengthening my shoulders and lower back.

Tuesday’s L2 Endurance Steady workout was 16.49 miles in 1:00:16. Average speed was 16.4 mph; maximum speed was 48.0 mph. Average power was 133 watts; maximum power was 171 watts.

Wednesday’s L2 Longer Endurance Steady workout was 29.69 miles completed in 1:30:16. Average speed was 19.7 mph; maximum speed was 33.1 mph. Average power was 133 watts; maximum power was 179 watts.

Thursday’s L1 Active Recovery Rolling workout was 12.89 miles in 0:41:21. Average speed was 18.8 mph; maximum speed was 22.8 mph. Average power was 117 watts; maximum power was 147 watts.
